Los Angeles Set to Host FIFA Club World Cup 2025, Local Photographer Tapped to Capture This Summer’s Global Showpiece

As the countdown continues to the FIFA World Cup 2026, excitement is already building in Los Angeles, California, one of the tournament’s key host cities. In 2026, the “entertainment capital of the world”, will welcome the World Cup to two iconic venues: SoFi Stadium and the Rose Bowl Stadium. These stadiums, which have been central to the region’s sports culture, will take on a global spotlight as they host matches for MLS (Major League Soccer), one of the most anticipated tournaments in the world.

But before the World Cup arrives next year, the road to 2026 begins this June, as the Rose Bowl Stadium will host six matches for the FIFA Club World Cup 2025, a major international competition that brings together the best clubs in the world.

A part of documenting these historic matches for the Rose Bowl Stadium will be Jessica Lee, a Los Angeles-based professional photographer who has been selected to cover all 2025 FIFA matches at the iconic 102-year old stadium. Lee, known for her work having already captured major soccer events such as LA Galaxy vs LAFC Home Opener, Real Madrid vs AC Milan,  Mexico vs New Zealand, LAFC vs CF Monterrey, and Club América vs Chivas de Guadalajara.

Being assigned to the FIFA Club World Cup is a significant professional recognition. Media access to FIFA events is highly selective, photographers are chosen not just for their portfolios, but for their reliability, discretion, and ability to work quickly under pressure. The trust placed in Lee to steer visual documentation of this competition speaks to her consistent professionalism and eye for storytelling.

Lee’s presence at the Rose Bowl Stadium this summer will mark another step in Los Angeles’ growing role on the global MLS stage. With the World Cup a year away, Lee’s work will offer fans a first look at the energy, excitement, and atmosphere expected to define FIFA’s return to Southern California.
