Bangkok, Thailand—Gother, a Thailand-based digital travel platform operated by Search Engine Optimization Co., Ltd., has announced its ambition to become one of the country’s top three travel platforms by 2027, following rapid growth since its launch in 2024.
The company reports 300% business growth within its first seven months of operation, driven by strategic partnerships and integration within Thailand’s leading mobile banking applications. Search Engine Optimization Co., Ltd. is a joint venture between Beacon Venture Capital (Kasikornbank) and Krungthai Ventures (Krungthai Bank).
Gother provides a comprehensive travel booking platform offering hotels, flights, car rentals, curated travel packages, and activity listings tailored to Thai travelers. The service is accessible via website and mobile applications (iOS and Android) and is integrated into K PLUS, Krungthai NEXT, and Paotang mobile banking platforms, enabling users to book and complete payments within existing digital banking ecosystems.
Mr. Anupong Kriangkrailipikorn, CEO of Search Engine Optimization Co., Ltd. and founder of Gother, said the company’s strategy focuses on combining technology with local market insight.
“Our goal is to build a travel platform that reflects the preferences and behaviors of Thai travelers,” Mr. Anupong said. “By leveraging data and AI-driven personalization, we aim to deliver relevant travel options and a seamless digital booking experience.”
To support its 2027 growth target, Gother has outlined three strategic priorities for the coming year:
- Expansion of service channels and enhancement of digital user touchpoints.
- Deployment of AI-powered recommendation systems to personalize travel suggestions based on user behavior.
- Growth of partnerships with domestic and international hotels, airlines, tour operators, and car rental providers to broaden inventory and improve price competitiveness.
The company aims to achieve 10 billion baht in annual booking volume by 2027. Management states that continued backing from Beacon Venture Capital and Krungthai Ventures will support further platform development, product innovation, and market expansion.
In June, Gother will also roll out a nationwide promotional campaign featuring limited-time discounts on flights, accommodations, and activities.
